Iral Clarence Fulce, 85, of Bakersfield, California, passed away on April 13, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on September 16, 1937, also in Bakersfield, to William Clarence Fulce and Opal May (Bell) Fulce.

Iral was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Myrna Mangan.

Iral attended Bakersfield High School and later continued his education at Bakersfield College. He was the 1958 BC Baseball Team MVP - and if you knew Iral, he probably told you that! He loved baseball, as well as many other sports. After college, Iral served for a few years in the army before Iral pursuing a career as a pipefitter. He was a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 460.

In his free time, Iral enjoyed spending time with his family, watching sports, and watching TV. In his younger years, he was active in his kids' activities, serving leadership roles on baseball teams, Cub Scouts, and other clubs.

Iral was well known for his love of telling great stories. He lived a full, active life and often found himself in funny, unusual, and/or interesting circumstances. And did he ever have a way of relating these stories to everyone he knew - and many people he didn't know. An outgoing, gregarious person, Iral never met a stranger.

Iral is survived by his three children, Randy (Denise) Fulce, Rondi (Richard) Wellum, and Ryan (Jeannie) Fulce; two brothers, Sidney (Kareen) Fulce and Tommy (Carol) Fulce; ten Grandchildren, and four Great Grandchildren.

The service will be held on Monday, April 24th at 10 am at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 3700 River Blvd, Bakersfield, California. In lieu of flowers or donations, the family requests people share their best stories with friends and family.
