On Friday, January 8, 2021, Yanira Luna Hernandez, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and granddaughter, passed away peacefully at 32 years old. Yanira was born on April 19, 1988, in Torrance, CA. and raised in Bakersfield, CA. She graduated from South High School in 2007.

Most recently, Yanira worked at Ford Jim Burke. Before Ford, she worked retail.

Yanira loved to spend time with her family. She had a big heart full of love and always willing to help anyone. Some of her favorite things were drinking Dr. pepper, her dogs, and giving her niece and nephews candy. Yanira always made sure that Josiah, Camila, Mason, and Noah had enough candy and gummy worms in their gifts. Yanira had a dog named Angel, who she enjoyed walking on a daily after work.

Yanira is survived by her Mother Olga Flores, Step Father Jose Flores, Sister Erendira (Ernie) Luna, Brother Juan Luna, nephews: Josiah Hernandez, Mason Luna, Noah Luna, niece Camila Luna, sister-in-law Leslie Luna, grandparents, cousins, aunts, and uncles, and significant other Rodrigo Oliva.

The viewing is being held in private. On Friday, January 22, 2021, funeral services will be at Greenlawn Funeral Southwest at 11 AM in Bakersfield, CA
