William G. Kranstz, of Bakersfield, CA, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2020 after a long battle with Parkinson's. He was born March 12, 1940 in Fairgrove Township Michigan to the late George W. and Opal B. Kranstz. He is surivived by wife, Jean (Wark) Kranstz, sons James and Michael Kranstz, daughters Shelly Lopez and Wendy Renteria, his sister, Georgia Muncy, as well as eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He graduated from Akron High School and attended Delta College. He worked as a heavy-line overhaul car and diesel truck mechanic. Hobbies included story telling, sports and beer. Because of COVID-19, there will be no service. He will be interred in Brookside Cemetery in Michigan at a later date.
