Virginia Anne Carver
Virginia, 67, of Bakersfield, CA passed away at her home on May 15, 2022. She was born in San Rafael, CA to James and Angela Dismuke. She was the youngest of four siblings, James, Jeannette, and Joseph. She was a graduate of Marin Catholic High School and earned her Bachelor’s Degree at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. She retired from Aera Energy after 17 years as a Financial Analyst. Virginia married Steven Carver on May 5, 1979. They had two daughters together, Nicole and Stephanie. They were married until the time of his passing in 2002. Virginia later married Terry Pierce on September 26, 2015 who was by her side at the time of her passing. Virginia loved to travel and cook, she enjoyed long lunches or dinners with friends, she cherished her relationship with Jesus, and she was wholly devoted to her family. She leaves behind husband Terry Pierce; two daughters, Nicole (Carver) Howlett and husband Jason Howlett, and Stephanie (Carver) Coats; and five grandchildren, Trenton Howlett, Tyler Howlett, Peyton Howlett, Jaxon Coats, and Allison Coats. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 26th at 11:00 a.m. at Seven Oaks Country Club.
