Tomas was blessed with a large and lovely family. He married the love of his life, Estela Sotelo, on November 10, 1974 and they had two children, Scharline and Tomas Ignacio. Tomas enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching sports, especially his favorite teams, the San Francisco 49ers and the San Francisco Giants. He enjoyed barbecuing and making Lechon during holiday festivities. Tomas was kind, soft spoken, was always smiling, laughing, and joyful. He was lovingly known as “Honey” within his family and “Chico” with his comrades at work. He also enjoyed spending time with his in-laws which viewed him as a father figure.
