Obituary for Tiffany Lynn Zamora

Tiffany Lynn Zamora was born in Bakersfield, CA on December 11, 1982. She passed peacefully on the early morning of December 31, 2023 in Kansas City, KS.

She lived all of her life in California until the passing of her husband in August of 2020. At that time, she moved to Lenexa to be close to her brother, Lee, and his family. Tiffany spent several years as a manager of Rusty’s Pizza in Bakersfield and then transitioned to homemaker when her second youngest was born.

Her family can attest that Tiffany was a die-hard Raiders fan and celebrated greatly when her team beat the KC Chiefs in the last game she ever watched. People down the hall of the hospital floor could hear her shout, “Raaaaaidderrs!”

Tiffany was an animal-lover through and through, with a special fondness for dogs. She enjoyed cooking big meals for her family, had a quick-witted sense of humor and a lot of compassion for those in need. She loved deeply and made sure to spoil others often (thanks to Amazon); if she could send gifts from Heaven, she would.

As many of her friends and family are back in California, where she lived the majority of her life, there will be a service at Greenlawn Funeral Home on Friday, January 19th at Noon. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved Danny.

Tiffany is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Zamora (2020). She is survived by her parents, Kenneth “Eddie” Waldron and Kelly Koolmees (Jean); her children, Allyson Bocanegra Bergman (Carlos), Gage Bergman, Emily Ronich, and Daniel and Kenneth Zamora; one grandchild Xander Bocanegra-Bergman; brother Lee Waldron (Sara); her nieces and nephews, Lydia, Penelope and Hezekiah; and her dogs, Moose and Mustard.
