Obituary for Sheryl "Lynn" Kyle

The very caring and beautiful Sheryl "Lynn" Kyle, age 66 of Bakersfield, California passed away on Sunday, May 17th 2020 at 9:19 am. Lynn unfortunately lost her battle to complications of ovarian cancer. She was born to Dorothy Price and the late Bruce Price. Lynn is survived by her two children, CrystaI Martin and Kevin Keown along with her grandchildren Reina, Kyle, Savannah, Russell, Jack, and Kennedy.

Lynn is also survived by her three sisters Pam, Sandi, and Carla as well as her brother Dale. Not to mention, her nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews who looked up to her as a mother. Lynn will be remembered by a number of other loving relatives and close friends.

Some of Lynn’s passions were reading, spending time with family, going to the beach, having drinks with Thelma, taking care of her mother, and spoiling her grandchildren. Anyone who knew Lynn knew she was outspoken, clumsy, funny, feisty, loving, sympathetic, sensitive, generous, motherly, and overall amazingly strong. Lynn was the model of pure unconditional love who always helped others in good times and bad. Her eternal love will last forever in our hearts.

A viewing will be held at Greenlawn Funeral Home Southwest (Celebration of Life Building A) located at 2739 Panama Ln. Viewing times will be from 4-8 pm on Thursday, May 28th. There will be no funeral services held due to her wishes of being cremated.
