September 1, 1934 - March 3, 2020
A private graveside service will be held for Sadie Bernice Shelton on Monday, April 20, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. It will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park and Mortuary (Southwest), in Bakersfield, California.
Sadie was preceded in death by her parents, George Pearce and Zadie Pearce; sisters, Inez Hall and Frances Oquin; daughters, Judy Polston, and Peggy Johnson; and her son, Lloyd Shelton. Those left to cherish her memory are her brother, Paul Pearce of Virginia, daughter, Connie Alvarado of Bakersfield, and sons Rick Shelton of Fresno, and Michael Shelton of Bakersfield. She is also survived by her numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Heartfelt appreciation to the staff at The Orchards, Optimal Hospice, and friends and family that came to spend quality time with Sadie.
