Ruby June Snelson, 87, departed this life to join our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, October 9, 2020, at her home in Bakersfield California.
Ruby was born June 24, 1933 in Green Forest, Arkansas to Henry and Ruth Collins. The oldest of seven children, she had 3 brothers and 3 sisters. She entered into marriage with Gerald Snelson on January 19, 1954. Ruby had three sons, Roger, Gregory and Barry.
She is survived by her sons, Roger, Gregory and wife, Greta, Diane (Barry’s Widow), 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, 1 brother and 3 sisters. She was preceded in death by Gerald, her husband of 62 years, and her youngest son, Barry.
Ruby’s friends, neighbors and family will miss her greatly.
Her final resting place will be with her husband at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Bakersfield, California.
