Ruben passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 in Bakersfield, California.
Ruben was born February 2, 1945 in Peñuelas, Puerto Rico to his mother Maria and his father Ruben.
He was a loving Husband, Father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle.
He came from the school of hard knocks. His generation is known as the greatest generation. The can do anything generation. He worked throughout his lifetime as a butcher, truck driver, business owner and laborer.
He was a master of getting along with all manner of folks from every ethnicity and background. He was always laughing and always made time for anyone needing to talk. He was loved by everyone and had a good heart.
He will be greatly missed, but despite this huge loss all of his family and friends find comfort in knowing he is in God’s hands, watching over all of us, waiting to welcome us Home.
Ruben is survived by his wife of 57 years Rosario. He is survived by his children Theresa, Henry, Nancy, Madeline (and their respective spouses). Ruben had 8 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. His brothers, sisters, many nephews, nieces and numerous other family members.
