Obituary for Randy Lynn Webber

Randy Webber
12/11/1948 – 12/28/20
Randy Lynn Reddy Webber left this world and walked through the gates of heaven on Dec. 28, 2020. Although she did not want to leave her family, she is now reunited with her son Doug and all of her loved ones that who were gone before her. I am sure that Doug was waiting for her and they are together again.
Randy was born on December 11, 1948 in Joplin Missouri to Edward H. (Bill) Reddfy and Ida Bernice (Bennett) Reddy. She lived the first 31 years of her life in Baxter Springs Kansas. She graduated from Baxter High school with the class of 1966. She later attended North Eastern A&M in Miami Oklahoma.
In 1965 She married Perry McMinn II. Together they had four children, Perry Author III, Lisa Lynn, Douglas Edward & Stacy Diane. In 1975, Randy married Lonnie Wayne Webber and together they had one son, Dustin Wayne. Lonnie passed away in 2004.
Randy worked a young age. She began working at Spring River Inn in Riverton, KS. Then at the Cherokee Court House in Columbus Kansas for the County Clerk and Register of Deeds office for over 10 years before leaving for California.
Many people remember her from her job at Fastrip on Mt. Vernon & Niles, where she worked for 23 years. Her employees and customers became like family to her. She remained in contact with many of them until her death. Some may remember her from the 7 years she managed the Shell station in Mettler Ca. She worked there until an accident that prevented her from working any longer.
After her accident, she devoted her time to her family which was what she enjoyed more than anything else. She enjoyed watching her “angel babies” (Great Grandchildren) and having them over for sleepovers. Anytime she could be with her family was when she was the happiest. She was there for each and everyone of them if they ever needed her. Everyone knew if they needed someone to talk to they could go to “G’s” house.
She also found much joy in spending time with her beloved dog Tyson. He brought her so much joy and they spent every moment together. She treated him as another member of her family and she loved him as such.
She also spent many hours on the phone talking to her sister, Jennie Belle whom she loved dearly. They could talk on the phone for hours and hours (and they did). She so enjoyed her yearly trips back home to see her sister and other family members. She would start planning her next trip days after arriving home from Kansas.
Randy was proceeded in death by her parents, Edward (Bill) and Ida Reddy, her very special Aunt Margaret Reddy, her 2 husbands Perry McMinn & Lonnie Webber, infant daughter Lisa Lynn, and her son Douglas Edward.
Remaining here to honor and cherish her memory is her family that she loved more that anything else, Sons Perry Webber (Kristi), Dustin Webber (Amanda) and her Daughter Stacy Diane (Darin). Her pride and joy who are her Grandchildren, Joshua Francis, Tony Webber, Doug Webber Jr., Nathan Francis, Danielle Weber and Brixton Webber. Her “Angel Babies” who brought her more joy than you could imagine, Jaymii Lane Francis, Adasyn Jade Webber, Elizabeth Nicole & Elliott Edward. Her beloved Sister, Jennie Belle Allen her beloved Brother in law Michael Allen of Baxter Springs Kansas, Nephews Shane Allen (Tracy) and Chad Allen. Her Great Niece Kennedy Allen and her Dear friend Chris Lupient. Also, her pets that she loved and cared for as family members, Tyson, Flash and Callie.

Randy loved sports: watching games on TV and attending lots of games in person. She loved the Raiders and never waivered in her support of her team. She loved to take pictures of her friends and family. Everyone knew that going to her house meant she would be taking pictures from the time you arrived and would most likely follow you out, when you were leaving, while still taking pictures. But, there is absolutely nothing that brought her more joy than her family. She cherished every minute she spent with them and was beyond happy when anyone of them came to visit her.

Below is from a note left by Randy to her family and quoted in her words…

“We will all be together again and until then I will continue to love you Forever. I am always with you. Thank you for being my life.”
