Life is a gamble so roll the dice. Rafael “Ralphy” Silva, 62, born in The Bronx, New York, passed away in Bakersfield, CA on July 27, 2022. For most of his life he was employed as a Freight Driver. Ralphy’s favorite hobby was playing cards at Golden West Casino. Although his biggest joy and what made his green eyes light up were the two most important girls in his life: his daughters Missy and Vicky. Ralphy also took an active role in activism in Bakersfield, CA which he was very proud of @ Justicefordavidsilva.

Ralphy was preceded in death by his brothers, Sal Silva and Jose Alberto Silva, his nephew, David Sal Silva, his Father, Jose Sal Silva and his Mother, Theresa Silva.

Ralphy is survived by his two daughters, Melissa Rabsch (Alex), Victoria Nanda (Yuvraj), and his three grandchildren Brandon, Zoey and Liv Rabsch, who all currently live in Cologne, Germany. He is also survived by his Sister, Judy (David), Nephews: Chris, who currently lives in Bakersfield, CA and Danny (Amber) of Redwood City, CA.

Everyone who knew Ralphy are welcomed to pay their respects. A Visitation and Chapel Service will be held on Friday, August 5, 2022 at 9 am at Greenlawn Funeral Home Southwest in the Main Chapel.
