Obituary for Patricia Lee "Patty" White

Patricia (Patty) Lee White, age 72, went to be home with the Lord on Jan. 10, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Patty was born Aug. 9, 1951 in Bakersfield and spent her entire life living in Kern County. She grew up in Cuyama on her parent’s cattle ranch where she began her love of the outdoors. She attended Maricopa High School and later graduated from CSUB with her Geology degree. She dedicated her life to her children being a stay-at-home mom and volunteering at school functions whenever possible. Once the kids grew up, she began her career at Excellent Fire Protection and shortly after that she married Dale White. She was happily married for 22 years before his passing in 2023.
Her hobbies included motorcycle riding, gardening, horseback riding, playing the accordion, and of course tending to her chickens. She and Dale prided themselves on improvements around their house and completing craftsman projects together. She was involved with New Hope Temple Church and enjoyed volunteering at their functions.
Patty is preceded in death by her husband Dale White, parents Bill and Alberta Stubblefield, and sister Janine Wilson. She is survived by her son Andrew Holland, daughter Katy (Brody) Beecher, step-son Travis (Sarah) White, and brother Bud Stubblefield along with her grandchildren Aurora, Chaise, Adelynne, and Brooklynne. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was a very outgoing person who always had a smile on her face. Anyone that crossed her path throughout her life knew she was a caring and loving person. Patty was greatly loved by her family and friends and will be truly missed. She brought much joy and happiness to all who knew her.
Graveside services will be held on January 26, 2024 at 10:00 AM at West Side Cemetery, 440 E Cedar St. in Taft. Memorial donations may be made to New Hope Temple Church of Taft.
