Obituary for Naomi Jean Henry

Naomi Jean Johnson Henry
1945 – 2020

Naomi was born on September 25, 1945 in Missouri and went home to be with the Lord on May 27, 2020 in Bakersfield. She is a college graduate that pursued a degree in Nursing and then Accounting where she eventually chose accounting as her career. She loved being on Pool and Bowling leagues in her younger years. She also loved to crochet blankets, dolls and whatever she could get her hands on. Naomi was known from all in Taft as either Mom or Grandma. She was loved and very giving to all that knew her.

Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Opal Johnson; her brother-in-law, Art Bilyeu; her grandchildren, twins-Alexis and Bradley Johnson; and her two nephews, Tige Billyeu and Chris Johnson.

She is survived by her brother, Chester Johnson and his wife Barbara; Her sister, Deline Bilyeu; her brother, Rick Johnson and his wife, Sherrill; her children, Shelly Wolfe, Shambra Holder, and Ryan Johnson; her grandchildren, Jessi Wheeler, Brad Wheeler, Nathan Cobbs, Kelsea Holder, Drake Phipps, Kati Neece, Ashley Johnson, twins-Melvin and Landon Johnson, and Brantley Johnson; great-grandchildren, Mason Clemo, Riley Ward, Harlee Patterson, Adlee Martin and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
