Michael was born on December 8, 1944 in New Port, Oregon to Bill and Thelma Ritchie. Michael went to school in Maricopa, CA and after graduating from high school he entered into the United States Air Force on February 8, 1964 and served until February 4, 1968. Michael went to work for numerous oil field companies through the years. He is survived by his sons, Michael W. Ritchie and Robert C. Ritchie and his wife, Paige; his grandsons, Brandon and Carson; his girlfriend, Virginia “Gina” Abrams and numerous nieces and nephews. Michael was a member of the Taft Moose Lodge and American Legion. There will be a Celebration of Life February 27, 2021 at 12:00 PM (Noon) at the Taft Moose Lodge, 205 ½ S. 10th Street, Taft, CA 93268.
