1964 – 2021
Mike was born on December 26, 1964 to Dave and Barbara Blanco. He passed away unexpectedly, February 14, 2021. Mike grew up in Bakersfield, California where he graduated from South High School. Mike excelled in the golf and played on teams at both South High School and Bakersfield College. Mike had carious jobs through the years, but always returned to golf, his passion. Mike worked at The Ultimate Drive and gave private lessons on the side. He also ran a business buying and reselling golf equipment, outfitting friends and family.
Mike is survived by his mother, Barabara Blanco, his father, Dave Blanco, his uncle, Ron Belland and wife, Sharon, his aunt, Delores, his uncle, Donald, and his girlfriend, Erin. He also leaves behind many lifelong friends as well as new, and his beloved cats, Kingston, Mandy, Jasmine, Rosie, and Eonna.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from 9am to 1pm followed by graveside service at 1:30 pm, Greenlawn Funeral Home Southwest, 2729 Panama Lane.
