It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our beloved mother
Mary Stuart at the age of 81.
Mary was born on January 16, 1940 in Kerkhoven MN and grew up in beautiful Grand Marais, Minnesota. She moved with her family to Bakersfield, CA in 1978 where she resided until her death.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents Mike and Mildred Croft, brother Robert Swanson and sister Pat Precord. She leaves behind her three children John (Jayme) Stuart, Teresa (Randy) Rehder and Mary Lostaunau. Her 6 grandchildren whom she adored so very much, Eddie (Andrea) Weikel, Stephanie (Sy) Hunt, Joey and Jacob Stuart, Ashley Rehder and Kyle Nicholson. And three beautiful great granddaughters, Rylynn, Ally, and Marlee. She also leaves behind her beloved sister Marlys (Dan) Michalowski and many special nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Mary touched many lives with her sweet, selfless, kind and loving personality. She will be missed by all. Thank you for blessing mom with your love and friendships throughout the years.
In leu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to The American Cancer Society.
A graveside memorial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park on February 26th at 10am.
