On March 24th 2023 John Marvin Harwood passed away peacefully at his home in Bakersfield, CA surrounded by his family.
Our hearts are broken by the loss of moms husband/our dad But we take comfort in knowing he's not suffering anymore.

John was born to Howard & Anna Harwood on March 22nd 1941 in Colfax, Washington.
John graduated High School in 1959 and on November 28th 1960 he was sworn into the Navy in Portland, Oregon. Shortly after he traveled to San Diego. CA. For Basic Training. He was stationed at Port Hueneme, CA and traveled to many places with the Navy.
John was a business owner of many small businesses he owned a dry cleaners, arcade, custom closet business, and many homes.
He was a jack of all trades.
John loved debating politics he loved cooking, gardening, carpentry, drinking coffee & making moonshine, he loved visiting with family & the most important thing to him was making his beautiful
wife Happy.
John is survived by his loving wife Socorro Harwood
