Martin R. Pereida Jr. was born on March 14, 1937 in San Martin Ranch, Brownsville, Texas to Martin and Jila Pereida. Martin married Dora Medrano on September 2, 1962. The couple migrated to California in 1965 and would return to Brownsville, Texas every chance they got. Although they wanted a big family God blessed them with one loving son Efren Fabian Pereida. Martin's pride and joy were his son two grandsons Fabian Martin and Justin James he made sure he did not miss any events they had, his presence known because he made friends everywhere he went. From a very young age Martin was extremely hard working in Brownsville, Texas he worked the family farm and retired in 2005 from Lehr Brothers in Bakersfield California. Martin was the last surviving sibling of Martin and Jila Pereida, he is also preceded in death by his wife Dora Pereida who passed away on January 29, 1995. He is survived by his wife of 25 years Laura, his son Efren Fabian and his wife Maria De La Luz, his grandchildren Fabian Martin and wife Yessica and Justin James and wife Ashley Marie, two beautiful great granddaughters Bailey Faith and Violet Eve, many nieces, nephews and friends who he adored. Martin was blessed to be able to give his blessing to many of his family members and friends before he entered into eternal rest on February 3, 2021.
