Marjorie Marcuse was born on May 13, 1931 in Cairo, GA and passed away on March 14, 2021 in Bakersfield, CA. She enjoyed a full life with her husband, Maurice Marcuse, until his passing in 1988, and with her family of three children: Don (Alice) Marcuse, Gail (Paul) Kleinau, and Larry Marcuse, and her six grandchildren: Ken, Amanda, Travis, Noah, Zoe, and Sara. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren: Trent, Kyle, Regan, Jersey, Hunter, and Quinn, as well as great-great-grandchildren. She also had great friendships over the years and had a special love with Owen Benthin for many happy years.
One of the highlights of her life in Bakersfield was her volunteer work at Mercy Southwest Hospital for many years. She remained active throughout her life and she was devoted to her children and grandchildren. Her love was felt by those who were close to her. Her love will continue to live on in the lives she touched.
