Obituary for Maria Angelica Martinez Ramos

Maria Angelica Martinez
March 24, 2021 Earlimart, CA

Angelica was a respectful, hard working and responsible woman born in Apatzingán, Michoacán. She came from Filemon Martinez and Maria Engracia Ramos. She had 3 beautiful children (Heber, Areli, Carlos) and later married Pedro Fernandez in 1990, along with whom she had 3 more graceful children (Jocelyn, Mayte, Pedro Jr.). She pursued the American Dream along with Pedro in the States and always dedicated her time to her children and household while maintaining the utmost respect and discipline. She also taught to love each other always unconditionally, the way God loves us.

On Saturday she enjoyed a nice walk in the evening, whether it be at Redondo Beach and watch her kids play in the old arcade, or at City Walk watching the dazzling lights underneath the Los Angeles sky. She taught her kids to embrace the cultures around us through the sense of taste! She loved to try new restaurants and had the best taste around! She was always remembered for her great recipes along with her amazing pozole! After a great meal it was only appropriate to take a stroll in a shopping center and pick up something new for her beloved house. To end the night? A sweet treat. On a Sunday and throughout the week, she loved going to church where her faith was nurtured and cared for. She was a devoted Christian until her very last breath. Her faith taught her that with perseverance and dedication we will one day reach the beautiful gates of Heaven where we will reach eternal peace and love.

Angelica is survived by her dear husband (Pedro), children (Heber & Carmen, Areli & Abel, Carlos, Jocelyn & Richard, Mayte & Javier, Pedro Jr. & Lauren), and grandchildren (Valerie, Maya, Adrian, Allison, Micah).
