Obituary for Jimmy Michael Myers
Jimmy Michael Myers, born July 15th, 1942, left this world to rest in the arms of our Lord and Savior on December 18th, 2020. While we mourn this great loss, we celebrate the promise of his eternal joy.
Born in Arkansas, raised by John and Vallie Myers with siblings Thomas, Jack, Barbara and Darlene, Jimmy went on to marry his precious bride, Patricia Hannah Myers. Together they had 4 children James Michael (Sharon) Myers, Valarie (Ed) Ballard, Melissa (Gary) Cain, Stephen (Alison) Rinehart, 8 grandchildren, 6 greatgrandchildren, and a bounty of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
During his career for Lucky Stores, he was loved by co-workers and maintained those relationships still, but his greatest success was in his service to the Lord, both personally, and through his ministries at Southwest Christian Center.
Jimmy lived his life with a generosity of spirit. The lives he touched are his lasting legacy. We will never be the same, having experienced the gift of his love, and the testimony of his life, which was dedicated to telling others of Christ’s great love.
