Obituary for Jill Murrow Rinehart
Jill Murrow Rinehart passed away on April 21, 2022 at Mercy Southwest Hospital surrounded by her family. She was 65 years young and had battled breast cancer for 7.5 years.
Jill was blessed with life in Oakland, California by her parents Vance and Meta Murrow. She has an older sister, Jan Murrow. She received her Bachelors Degree in Sociology at Cal State Fullerton and enjoyed working at Bank of America. Jill met Larry Rinehart in 1982 and became his wife a year later. She soon became blessed with motherhood and became a housewife. Jill and her husband raised two children; Chip Rinehart and Alisa Jordan.
Jill was a wonderful friend to everyone she came in contact with. She loved spending her time sewing quilts for her family and friends. She had a wonderful Bible study group that she went to often. You could also find her roaming Main Street in Disneyland with her best friends every couple of months. Jill loved traveling when she could. She adored dogs, especially her own, and had a love of elephants and coffee.
She is survived by her husband, son, and daughter.
Service will be held on May 4 at 10:00am at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Park 2739 Panama Lane Bakersfield, CA 93313 in Greenlawn Southwest Chapel (Building A).
