Jennie Lynn Baker, born June 30, 1959 to Efton Orie Baker and Grace Aone (Glenn) Baker in Woodland, California. She was the third of five children.
Jennie grew up farming with her family. She moved to Bakersfield, California where she worked in the agriculture industry. This is where she met the love of her life Gearld Lynn and was married soon after devoting her time to raising their only child Clara. Following the loss of her husband, she re-entered the workforce in the food management industry and was recently able to retire.
Jennie took pride in her family. She loved her brothers, nieces, and nephews dearly, though she was especially proud of her daughter and grandchildren. It was not hard to see that they were her life and loved them very much.
Jennie was preceded in death by, father, Efton Orie Baker, mother, Grace Aone (Glenn) Baker, oldest brother, Carl D. Baker, sister, Kathy J. Pounds, and husband, Gearld W. Lynn.
Jennie is survived by her only child, Clara Chase, son in-law, Matthew Chase, grandchildren Tristan, Colten, and Brook, brothers, Afton Scott Baker and Rick Baker, nieces Jamie, Ruby, Shelly, Kelly, and Breanna, and nephew’s RJ and Afton.
Jennie went to spend her eternal life with Jesus on July 20, 2020 after sudden heart failure. She will be missed dearly.
