Jacklyn Annette Whiting Eckels, 84, of Bakersfield died Tuesday, March 2, 2021. She was born on November 19, 1936 in Riverside, CA to John and Mary Whiting.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Wright Eckels Sr and a son, John Franklin Eckels. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter Colleen Parks and husband Vernon of Bullhead City, AZ; sons Ronald Eckels Jr and wife, Donna of Bakersfield, Richard Eckels of Antioch, Jared Eckels and wife, Gail of Bakersfield, a stepdaughter Michelle Meeks Salmonson, a stepson Jerry Moyer; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Greenlawn Funeral Homes Southwest, 2739 Panama Ln, Bakersfield on Monday, March 29, 2021 from 4pm to 8pm.
Burial will be on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 12:30pm in Riverside National Cemetery.
No services are scheduled.
