Hershall Leon Wood, 81, passed away on July 16, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Hershall was born in Stockton, California on September 23, 1938 to his parents Henry Clay Wood and Katherine Mabel Duncan. He married Jeannie Joann Longcrier on September 1, 1960. They had two children, daughter Jayme Yohn and son David Wood. Hershall retired from California Correctional Institute in Tehachapi, CA in 1998. Hershall is preceded in death by both of his parents and his sister Joyce Galloway. He is survived by his wife, Joann, of 59 years, daughter Jayme (Scott) Yohn, son David (Ramona) Wood. He had two grandchildren, Jacob Yohn and Shelby Wood and one great-grandchild, Sam Yohn.
