Obituary for Geneva Beatrice Wright
Geneva Wright age 91, went home to be with the Lord on October 16, 2020 in Bakersfield, CA. She was born on October 23, 1928 to Frank and Leola Henry in McCurtain, Oklahoma.
Geneva was a loving and caring mother to her six children, devoted grandmother to her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She had a huge collection of dolls, tea cups, wall plates. She loved her family and always looked forward to the large gatherings during holiday season. She was so motherly, caring and warn, her children’s friends called her “Mom”.
Geneva is predeceased by her husband, Edward Francis Wright, her parents, brothers and three children: Glen Songer, Anita Price and Kimberly Lawrence.
Geneva Survived by her sister, Lois Bartholdi, Oklahoma, her children Sue Comstock, Frank Cavillo, Jerry Wright and their families, her stepsons Edward Wright and Jack Wright and their families as well as her extended family and friends.
A graveside service celebrating Geneva’s life will be held at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Park, 2739 Panama Lane, Bakersfield, CA on Saturday, October 24 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to the Dementia Society of America.
