Francisco Barbosa Lopez, 83, was born to Juan and Manuela Barbosa on January 1, 1937 in San Jeronimo, Jalisco Mexico. He met the love of his life, Elvira Barbosa, and moved their growing family to Kern County. He entered the gates of Heaven on August 13, 2020. He was a loving husband, caring father, supportive brother and a loyal friend to those who were blessed to know him.
“Chico”, as many called him, was a Catholic man of faith who worked hard his entire life. He was a devoted family man to his wife, nine children and nine grandchildren. He grew crops, raised livestock, and built things from the ground up. His calm and gentle spirit was a delight to be around. Francisco was a humble man who left us with endless memories that we will keep in our hearts until we meet again.
He was preceded in death by his father Juan, mother Manuela, son Juan, granddaughter Tiffany and brother Jesus. Funeral services will be at Greenlawn Southwest. Family and friends are invited to his services and viewing on Saturday August 29, 2020 12pm-3pm.
