Obituary for Esther Maldonado Franco

ESTHER MALDONADO FRANCO

Esther Maldonado Franco, was called on Monday May 25th 2020 to be with the lord, and she was ready and she knew she had to go. This perfect funny little lady was bigger than life – always had a smile on her face and always had a kind word for everyone- she never complained she excepted all situations as they were, she loved life she loved her kids and she especially loved her grandkids.

Esther was born in Chihuahua Mexico on March 4, 1937 to Alvina and Pablo Maldonado, she had one brother and three sisters, numerous nephews and nieces, whom she dearly loved. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years Henry Franco II. When she married Henry, she was blessed to become a member of the biggest most loving Franco Family.

Esther was a housewife and blessed Henry with five children, plus a few extras -Martha Carbajal and husband Chris of Bakersfield, Leonora Franco of Bakersfield, Sylvia Hawks and husband David of Bakersfield, Ida Franco-Dowdy and husband Brian of Nashville, TN and the baby Henry Franco III and wife Denise of Utah. Between these five children they blessed her with eight wonderful grandchildren, Jennifer Moore and husband Chris, Joseph Carbajal and wife Ratana, Megan Carbajal and Aaron, Austin Hawks, Jessica Hawks, Nathan Franco, Andrew Franco, and Rachel Franco.

Esther will be missed more than words can describe she was truly beautiful inside and out – the outreach and love we have received from all of our family and friends is a testament of the impact she had on everyone that knew her.

A viewing will be held at Greenlawn Funeral Homes at 3700 River Blvd. in Bakersfield on June 10th between 4:00pm and 8:00pm with a Rosary starting at 6:30pm given by Cecelia Herrera.
