Obituary for Douglas Mansker

Douglas Mansker was born on november 10, 1966 in Anchorage, Alaska. As a part of a military family Doug lived in numerous locations throughout his childhood before finally settling in Santa Maria, California where he graduated from Righetti high school. After graduating the police academy at age 20 Doug went to work at Paso Robles police department and from there to the taft police department and finally to the Bakersfield police department. He loved being a police officer especially the years he served as a motor officer. Doug loved interacting with all the people and different personalities he met during his time as a police officer. He was a kind and generous man with a uniquely recognizable voice that belonged on radio or T.V. and always ready with a smile or laugh.

Most dear to his heart was his friends and family. He is survived by his wife Teresa; his son Doug, daughter Mckenne; grandson, Asher Bird; step sons Matthew and Justin Robins, his mother Carmen Mansker, and his brother, Greg and Michelle Mansker. He is preceded in death by his father Doyle Mansker. Having given his life to his Lord Jesus Christ, Doug has gone home to our Heavenly Father.
