Doretha Viola Stephens was born March 11,1923 in Holderville, Oklahoma to Albert Toby Hall and Lillie Nelson Hall. Doretha was the 5th of Six children, her father a farmer and her mother was a homemaker.
Doretha Stephens fulfilled her spiritual need by accepting Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She had a very personal relationship with the Lord.
Doretha Viola Stephens married Curlee Jones in 1941 and to this union was 6 children.
Doretha was a culinary cook for many years and after retiring she loved cooking and reading as well as Word Search and her favorite Pastime was going to BINGO.
Doretha is preceded in death by her parents Albert and Lillie Hall, 1st husband of 26 years Curlee Jones and her late husband Wilson Stephens (Steve) and her sons Curtis and Eddie Jones, and her siblings and grandsons Fontaine Jones and great grandson Marquette Green Jr.
Doretha leaves to cherish her memory her Daughter and Husband Lillie/Joe Givan, her Daughter Delores Raphael, her sons Larry /Sharon Jones and Kenneth/Ruth Jones and her 19 grandchildren 57 great grandchildren and 38 great greatgrandchildren.
She also leaves her special friends Esther Garcia and Quint Brown and a host of family and friends.
Doretha Viola Stephens will be deeply missed by all her family and friends who loved her.
