Obituary for Dina Floriano
Dina Floriano, age 89, passed away with her family by her side on Tuesday, July 5th, 2022, in Bakersfield, California.
Dina was loving, creative and hardworking. She worked for Silver Lake Laundry for two decades then retired from Bolthouse Farms after 20 years of service.
Dina was a devoted mother, sister, and grandmother. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. She was a devout Christian who believed in the power of prayer - as evident in the way she lived her life. Dina was the first to extend her hand, her home, a meal, or a prayer to anyone in need. In retirement, she enjoyed caring for the children in the nursery at Victory Christian Center.
She is survived by her daughters: Monica Villa (Mike), Vivian Bell; and her 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Our Mama and Nane…always and forever in our hearts.
She was preceded in death by her beloved partner, Benjamin Caraveo; her son, Louis Floriano; sisters: Ramona Martinez, Aurora Roldan; brothers: Ernest and Jesse Gutierrez; parents: Jose and Rita Gutierrez.
Funeral Services to be held Wednesday, August 10, 2022, 10:00am at Greenlawn Funeral Home Southwest, 2739 Panama Lane, Bakersfield, California.
