David sure lived to dance and bowl. And he loved to watch Bill Gaither Homecoming videos. The first time I met David (I’m his sister-in-law) he was sitting on the floor, in the family’s living room, with his leg crossed Indian-style, bent forward, intently watching the Gaither video. My first impression was ‘how could he sit in that position?’ With his legs crossed like they were, he was bent at the waist with his forearms resting on the floor looking up at the tv. I soon learned just how limber he was. He could put his body in positions that could boggle the mind. He sure boggled mine. 🙂 David was so loving and I remember how he would always come give me a hug whenever I saw him. That and him always loving to look at the clouds in the sky. He was a better weather forecaster than the tv weathermen. He could accurately forecast rain when the sky was blue with no clouds. He was amazing!! He will sure be missed but he’s now so happy in heaven with the Lord and with his earthly father, who had already gone on before him. He’s now in heaven loving and singing to the Lord with the angels... and with many of the Gaither Homecoming singers who have gone on before. He’s now healthy and whole, eating all the angel food cake he desires!! 😇 He sure did love his cake. I love you David and will see you again one day!!
