On Thursday, August 11, 2022, Daniel Lucas Ehrhardt-Trubey, a loving and devoted husband, father, and son, passed away in his home at the age of 34.
Daniel was born in Bakersfield California on August 12, 1987 to Rhonda Ehrhardt. He was later under the guardianship of Mel and Ernelle Trubey, who he called mom and dad. After high-school he attended some college but would later go on to accomplish his certifications for CompTia A+, 220-1001 and 1002. Although very proud of his work as a Network Specialist, Daniel enjoyed his second career as one of Bakersfield's very best Karaoke Dj's. On May 6, 2018, Daniel was married to the love of his life and best friend, Jennifer Trubey (Villagran), at The Gardens at Mill Creek in Bakersfield Ca.
Daniel was a very talented man and enjoyed many things in his life such as soccer, music, (writing songs, singing, playing guitar and piano). He was also a very skilled trumpet player. Nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his wife and children. They spent hours on end playing board games, going on family trips, having movie nights, karaoke nights, build your own pizza nights, and the list goes on. He was a very loving and involved parent, and his children meant the world to him. Daniel had many passions but one of his favorite things to do was spend time with his wife, Jennifer.
Some of the best moments of their years together were spent making music in their living room, talking, cooking, listening to music, and dancing in the kitchen. The friendship and love they shared was truly one of a kind.
Daniel was preceded in death by his mother Rhonda Ehrhardt, and brother Brandon Ryan. He is survived by his wife Jennifer, his four sons Noah, Nathan, Mathew and Oliver, his two daughters Marley and Quinn, his parents Mel and Ernelle Trubey, his brother Brian, and his four sisters Karissa, Mindy, Marci, and Kristen.
