Obituary for Daniel "Danny" Zamora Jr.

On Friday, August 21, 2020, Daniel Zamora Jr., loving husband and father of five children, passed away at the age of 49 in Bakersfield, CA.

Danny was born on July 29, 1971 in Los Angeles, CA to Daniel and Carmen Zamora. He loved Jesus! He loved his parents, wife, children and family dearly. He spent much of his youth growing up in Lamont, CA and graduated from Arvin High School in 1989. During the fall of 2006 the love journey of Danny and Tiffany would begin. On October 30, 2010, he married Tiffany Lynn Waldron. Over the next 10 years they would ‘divide and conquer’ raising their four children together. Daniel, Kenneth, Allyson and Gage meant everything to Danny, which was evident in how he poured into them love, laughter, guidance and great family memories. Danny spent most of his career working hard and building many friendships in the oil industry with his most recent title being supervisor. He was a man of many hats and wore them well.

Danny was a simple man that really enjoyed being with his family and friends. He loved his work and talking to people anywhere and everywhere he went. He touched so many lives in so many ways; good friends would say he made a mark on every heart that he met. He loved good music, great food, dancing, talking politics, his dog Moose and the Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs. He cared deeply for people and would do anything to help a friend in need.

Danny was preceded in death by his grandparents Juan and Mercedes Gonzalez and Alejandro and Celia Zamora, who welcomed him at the gates of Heaven. He is survived by his parents Daniel and Carmen Zamora; his wife Tiffany; five children, Iliana, Allyson, Gage, Daniel, and Kenneth; his sisters Araceli Zamora, Leticia Salcedo, Elizabeth Rojas (Alberto) and Janeth Brouwer (Steve); brother-in-law Lee Waldron (Sara Jo); and his nieces and nephews Lizbeth Ochoa, Daniel Ochoa, Veronica Ochoa, Jazmine Rojas, Giovanni Salcedo, Alberto Jr. Rojas, Joshua Brouwer, Benjamin Brouwer, Karina Brouwer, Lydia Waldron, Penelope Waldron and Hezekiah Waldron. Danny will also be forever remembered by his numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
