Antonio Carillo Gonzalez age 69 was called back home on March 6 2021 at St Agnus Hospital in Fresno CA. Tony was born on December 15, 1951 in Mexicali to Antonio Gonzalez and Sarah Chavaria. Tony is survived by his children Antonio & Suzanna Gonzalez, Audrey Gonzalez, Joseph Gonzalez, his grandchildren Sophia, Antonio, Emilio, his siblings Joe, Esther, Michael, Paulina, Terry, Paul, Thomas, Pat, Paula, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and his beloved dog Sam. Tony grew up in the Sunset area in Fresno and was a graduate of Central High School class of 72. Tony worked as a butcher before he got into construction where he would retire after 35 years. Tony spent summers barbecuing, enjoying the pool, and making snow cones for everyone. His favorite time of year was during Christmas when he would dress as Santa Clause for the kids. Tony enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and camping. His love for nature moved him to Oakhurst CA where he would live out the rest of his life. The family invites you to celebrate Antonio's life and lasting legacy with a viewing on March 17, 2021 at 4:00-8:00 pm with funeral services on March 18, 2021 at 1:30-3:00 pm. All services will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park at 3700 River Blvd Bakersfield CA 93305.
