Life Legacy
Luther Harold Higgins was born in Wynnewood, OK, on December 9, 1919, to Earve and Dora Jane Higgins. He married Jean Rose Tollison and had two children, John and JoAnn. Luke was a body man for over 40 years and retired from Jim Burke Ford in 1984. He served in the Navy in Okinawa during WWII.
Luke was preceded in death by his loving wife, daughter, four sisters, and three brothers. He is survived by his sisters, Ophelia, Louise, and Nola; son, John and wife, Patti Higgins; granddaughters, Julie, Holly, Tori and husband, Daniel Fabela; grandsons, Sean and Tim; and great-grandsons, Joseph, River, Maleik, Bowen, and J.D.; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2012, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Chapel, 2739 Panama Lane. A chapel service will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, you may donate to Optimal Hospice Care.
